Keeping in touch
Only six weeks now to my retirement and shortly after will be moving to Ireland. Hopefully this site will enable me to keep in touch with all my friends.

All is for the best in the best of all possible worlds
Well you have to be an optimist or give up life now !
Not been a good week. Lost my Mum last tuesday. Quite a lady. Born in 1909 to a poor Irish family in Liverpool. Started her life contributing to the family funds at the age of 5 selling oranges on the street corner. At 16 she was given a job by Notre Dame in the kitchens, where she lived and worked untill 1943 when she met my Father, Owen. She still worked for Notre Dame, rising to become the head Chef for the Training College until retirement at 65. One tuff lady.
